A 28mm English Civil War scrimmage was played in Temple at Lance’s Lair. An English village was besieged by disease ridden French pirates, drunken murdering Royalist dragoons (he deserved to be killed), horse thieving Parliamentarians (they deserved to be killed), and the terrible Royalist Tax Collectors (no question about them).

Interesting photos of the preparation of Surrender of Japan in August 1945. (Officially signed on the USS Missouri in the Tokyo Bay, September 2, 1945) A delegation of Japanese Representatives flew to an American Base close to Okinawa. The Japanese planes were requested to be painted in white and have the “Meatballs” replaced by a Green Cross. Found the photo album of the construction of the Waco 10mm scale Waterloo terrain board (the entire battlefield) sponsored by Jim Dunnam. The game went on to win a Millenniumcon Cup. The game used the computer based Carnage and Glory rules.
